After releasing the singles "Miss You Every Day" and "As It Seems", The Belgian alternative-rock quartet The Roost finally released its brand new mini-album : 'Black Mountain', out now on Bandcamp and all legal streaming services.

More polished and modern in its approach, this new record benefits from enhanced production, including mixing by Stefan Boman (Ghost, The Hives, The Hellacopters…), and marks a clear evolution in the band’s sound, in service of more polished songwriting.

Emerging from the 2026 festival circuit as winners of the Arc-en-Musique in Belgium, The Roost has refined their unique "heavy-meets-melodic" DNA. If you live for the rhythmic grit of Alice In Chains, the unpredictable energy of Royal Blood, and the raw, emotive soul of Foo Fighters, this is the track your speakers have been waiting for. The band strikes a deliberate balance between power and emotion, driven by expressive lead vocals and incisive, heavy riffs that stay with you long after the final note.

As the first glimpse into the upcoming album Black Mountain, "Miss You Every Day" offers a melodic, intense, and modern listening experience. The song is a deep dive into the silences that push us apart and the lingering ache of a connection that is slowly fading.

To ensure the highest sonic quality, the track was mixed by the legendary Stefan Boman, the renowned engineer behind the sound of Ghost, The Hives, and The Hellacopters.
