Portland OR -- Portland’s genre-bending DOOMBIA has recently wrapped the production on their upcoming sophomore full length album and are excited to share the first single from their upcoming record releasing this Fall.

Recorded at Portland's Hallowed Halls Studio with platinum-selling engineer Justin Phelps (Mars Volta, Dead Kennedys, Poison Idea, Cake) and mastered by Grammy-winning engineer Alan Douches (Mastodon, Converge, Chelsea Wolfe, Fleetwood Mac), the track showcases Doombia’s signature fusion of doom metal, psychedelic rock, and Latin cumbia.

DOOMBIA is a BIPOC-led, gender-queer band from Portland, Oregon blending doom metal and psychedelic rock with Latin cumbia and salsa into a bilingual, boundary-crossing sound that leaves audiences both banging their heads and shaking their hips.

They have played throughout the Pacific Northwest, toured the West Coast, released a full-length album and two live EPs, and have been awarded numerous artist grants for their culturally significant music. In addition to several profiles and reviews in blogs and zines, Doombia were featured in Willamette Week’s Best of Portland 2024 issue, Portland's largest weekly paper.
