Goodnight Sky is an American grunge, sludge and stoner rock trio from New York. It is recognizable by heavy guitar riffs, atmospheric psychedelic synthesizers and a sound reminiscent of the 90s scene.
The trio's music combines elements of alternative rock, desert rock, and doom. "Oceania" (2024): Debut album featuring standout singles like "Off Kilter" and "They Crave." The sound has been described as raw, garage-like, and infused with dark, melancholic melodies.
"Magnum Opiate" (2026): Their second release, released on May 27, 2026. The EP features eight tracks, including the notable singles "Shiva" and "Sex Marks The Spot," and has received rave reviews in underground heavy and stoner rock circles for its top-notch production and dynamic rhythm section.
The band is very active in the New York underground concert scene. They often perform at famous New York clubs, such as Lucky 13 Saloon, The Brooklyn Monarch, and The Woodshop (where they have shared the stage with artists such as Heavy Temple and Scott "Wino" Weinrich).
