FIREBREATHER premieres new album "Blood That I Spill Turns To Fire"!

Swedish sludge metal powerhouse FIREBREATHER premiere new studio full-length "Blood That I Spill Turns to Fire" in full, ahead of its official release this Friday, October 16th through Heavy Psych Sounds Records.

On their new album Blood That I Spill Turns to Fire, epic sledgehammer riffs collide, massive grooves creep into your ears and the trio's unwavering sonic heft presses against your body before the first lyric lands, echoing like a primal call from another world. This band knows how to pull you in in the most visceral way, something fans of High On Fire, Monolord, Conan and Mastodon will love this from the get-go.

Formed in Gothenburg in 2016, Firebreather is rooted in crushing, sludge-doused doom. Never wavering from that commitment across all three of their incendiary full-length releases, the trio has pursued weight with purpose, as the only language broad enough to hold the emotional reach and sonic heft of their sound. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2018 on Suicide Records, leading to comparisons to a slower, doomier counterpart to the likes of High on Fire and Mastodon. In 2019, they signed to US label RidingEasy Records and subsequently released the Under A Blood Moon and Dwell In The Fog albums.

Firebreather is a band that never postures or asks to be admired for their heaviness, and to see them live is to experience exactly why: their sonic weight takes on another life entirely. With years of touring across Europe and North America under their belt, they are praised for a live show that is a physical, altering experience, known for their towering tone and consuming grit. Their upcoming fourth album is set to sweep everything on its path, with a release slated for October 2026 on Heavy Psych Sounds Records.
