Following the acclaimed 2023 debut EP ‘TRENCADIS’, KO-MA returns with a cinematic descent into the modern Western metropolis with their first full-length album, 'Anthropolis'. Set for release on March 6 via a powerhouse collective of labels - Kinsfolk, Ma Saret, Tout Doux, Coeur sur Toi, and No Need Name - the project is far more than a standard record. It is a dystopian urban fresco and a speculative thriller that explores the slow-motion decay of the contemporary city.
Right now you can experience the first transmission from this crumbling world right now with the release of the lead single, "T-Faked," available exclusively on YouTube ahead of the official album launch.
Hailing from Tours, France, KO-MA is a high-octane power trio that has been storming the live circuit since 2022. Their sound is a visceral collision of punk, post-hardcore, and noise, striking a masterclass balance between raw aggression and ethereal nuance with lyrics diving deep into anxiety, resilience, and the struggle for freedom in a self-destructive system.
Drawing inspiration from heavyweights like Birds in Row, La Dispute, Fugazi and Sonic Youth, the band crafts music that resonates with bone-deep honesty.
With more than 70 live performances, across France, Belgium, and Spain, KO-MA is a seasoned touring act known for intense, improvisational "noise sessions".
