Funeral Joke from El Paso, Texas have just released a self-titled EP!

Great EP by the band Funeral Joke, rhythm section strong, stable, accurate, great job. The guitarist perfectly uses his guitar and other effects, thereby obtaining a huge spatial sound of the band. I was most impressed by the vocalist's absolute control of her vocals, she perfectly controls the vocal pitches, which gave the songs a special dimension. (Mud Waves)

Gathering fragments of deep devastation and translating emotions into soundscapes, Funeral Joke began as a neo-folk acoustic duo in May 2024 and have since made a name for themselves on the El Paso music scene with their energetic live performances and haunting music that blends elements of post-metal, doomgaze, grunge, and post-punk, as well as goth and sludge metal. Proving that they can't be tied to just one sound, Funeral Joke are different from many of their musical contemporaries here on the West Texas scene and have shared the stage with such greats as EYEHATEGOD, Calabrese, Sculpture Club, Temptress, Zombeast, and The Discussion, many of whom praise the band for their stunning performances and are now ready to spread the gospel of Funeral Joke to the rest of the world. You must be warned.
