GODZILLA IN THE KITCHEN release their third single from their upcoming album!

Following Nothing For None and Empty Cribs, GODZILLA IN THE KITCHEN have released their third single from their upcoming album Termination Sequence: Birdsong. Perhaps the album's most infectious and emotional track, the song explores growth and regret.

The melodic, almost wistful lyrics follow the protagonist through a journey of aggression, self-loathing, and inner conflict. Birdsong asks a difficult question: Do we really have to accept every part of ourselves - or is change sometimes the only option?

Musically, the song reveals a new, distinctly pop and more melodic side of GODZILLA IN THE KITCHEN without denying the band's roots. Alternative metal and stoner influences meet with infectious melodies and an emotional, almost anthemic character. Birdsong is accompanied by a music video that visually reflects this journey of personal growth.

The third single and perhaps the most accessible yet also the most emotional song from our upcoming album "Termination Sequence". Birdsong deals with themes of growth and regret. It acknowledges that not every aspect of one’s character has to be accepted and that sometimes change is the only option. Accompanied by melodic, almost wistful verses, the song follows the protagonist through aggression and self-hatred to the realization that improvement is actually possible.

Godzilla In The Kitchen is a Leipzig-based alternative metal band. After gaining attention with their instrumental sound and an appearance at Wacken Open Air in 2022, the band entered a new chapter. With Simon Ulm stepping up to vocals, Godzilla In The Kitchen evolved from an instrumental project into a powerful alternative-metal act driven by groove, intensity, and atmospheric depth.
