Heavy Psych Sounds Fest Athens announces Planet of Zeus, Colour Haze and more for April 2026 edition; tickets on sale now!

Following its monumental 2025 debut, Heavy Psych Sounds Fest — the mini-festival curated by European heavy label Heavy Psych Sounds Records — returns to Athens for its second edition this spring to command the land of the gods with its tectonic riff force! ARCH Club and Universe will again see their stages and foundations vibrate under the sheer force of stoner, doom, and psychedelic rock's most essential forces.

Headlined by Greece's own titans of riff Planet of Zeus and the German heavy psychedelic masters Colour Haze, the festival's lineup will be amplified by the raw sludge of Sardinian trio 1782, the occult doom rituals of Witchthroat Serpent, the sheer rock'n'roll grooves of Dismiss, as well as the desert-fueled stoner rock of Fuzzrider. Headquartered in Rome, Heavy Psych Sounds Records is one of Europe's leading stoner, doom and heavy rock labels and the home to some of the most revered artists in the scene, such as Brant Bjork, Nick Oliveri, Pentagram, Witchcraft, Conan, Bongzilla, Yawning Man or Black Rainbows.

The underground cult label is not only a place for all heavy rock record collectors, but also an essential part of the live scene with its mini-festival series Heavy Psych Sounds Fest, gathering heavy music fans worldwide. Since its inception in 2015, the festival has taken over all major European cities, from London and Berlin to Paris, while also spreading its wings across the United States with events in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York and Baltimore.

The festival has hosted some of the biggest names in the scene, consistently presenting an electric blend of HPS bands alongside top-tier acts from the international heavy scene such as High On Fire, Red Fang, Elder, Monolord, 1000mods, Messa, and many more over the years.
