HKSPK announce their new full‑length album Heimkehr, set for release on September 11, 2026.

The Black/Death Metal band from Brandenburg, Germany presents a 25‑minute work of raw intensity, combining cold Black Metal atmosphere with the physical weight of Death Metal. The album delivers eight tracks of direct, unfiltered expression.

Recorded, mixed and mastered by HKSPK at Room13. Cover artwork by Steffen Schmolke.

HKSPK have recently appeared in several international media outlets, including Legacy MagazineRAMzineWhiskey SodaRock Era MagazineActa InfernalisFatal Undergroundand Slowly We Rot, establishing an early editorial presence ahead of the album release.

Heimkehr will be released independently, with digital distribution via DistroKid and a limited physical edition of 50 CDs available through Bandcamp.

“Heimkehr” is the second album by HKSPK. Eight tracks combine the cold atmosphere of black metal with the weight of death metal while opening into melody, doom, atmosphere and the direct force of punk. The lyrics draw on the band’s experiences, stories involving people close to them and historical motifs. The result is not a linear concept album, but a connected journey through loss of control, war, despair, revenge, memory and dark humour.

The album opens with “Prelude”, written in the same key and tempo as “Torture” so that both tracks form a continuous introduction. Short and aggressive pieces sit beside melodic and atmospheric material. “White Secretions II” deliberately reconnects with the debut album. “Sonnenjäger” draws on classic death metal. “Kill The Weak” combines black metal with punk, hardcore and thrash. “Rot In Despair” creates weight through reduction. “Rain In The Face” uses a strong narrative perspective, and “Heimkehr” closes the album with more than six minutes of atmospheric black metal.

The lyrics move from a disastrous tour story to war, fate, mental exhaustion and the consequences of revenge. Several tracks are based on the band’s experiences or situations involving people close to them. Historical motifs are interpreted freely and are not presented as documentary accounts. The title track brings together memory, brotherhood and emptiness with a practical warning to promoters who book bands but cannot pay them.

ABOUT HKSPK

HKSPK formed in Brandenburg in 2023. From the beginning, the music, arrangements and production were developed within the band. Their debut album “Holy Scum” arrived in 2024, followed by the EP “The Human Butcher” in 2025. The 2026 singles “Torture” and “Rot In Despair” opened the next chapter.

On 11 September 2026, HKSPK will release the album “Heimkehr”. Its eight tracks connect black metal and death metal with melodic, atmospheric, doom laden and occasionally punk driven elements. The lyrics draw on the band’s experiences, stories from their immediate surroundings and historical motifs. Reality is not hidden behind grand fiction. It is heightened until it fits the music.

HKSPK deliver focused and high impact live performances. The band have supported Asagraum, Enisum and Waldgeflüster, appeared at M.U.R. Open Air, Godless Mountain Open Air and Summer Ends, and played a headline show in Brno.
