Introducing Birds of Vale and their excellent album Dimensions!

I am very happy to discover such a great band, it restores my faith in music, bands and gives me hope that not everything went in the wrong direction. I will be brief, while listening to the album, my smile does not leave my face, everything is so natural from the vocals, guitars, bass, drums. The simple power of the band while listening to it and their balance between vocals, guitars and rhythm section takes the listener to another dimension where the listener feels satisfied and happy. The team made a fucking good album, while listening to them I have the feeling that they are seriously screwing around and having fun, which is the goal of good music.

Mud Waves

Birds of Vale was formed in early 2020 in Athens and made their recording debut later that same year with the double single Devil In / Beautiful Girl, released via Bitter Tea Records. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Birds of Vale quickly managed to bring their electrified sound to the stage, performing extensively across Athens and the rest of Greece, as well as playing selected shows abroad.

In 2024, they released their debut album Limbo, which received warm reviews both in Greece and internationally, establishing their position as one of the most promising new names in contemporary rock.

Their sound is an explosive blend of heavy blues and rock ’n’ roll, deeply influenced by the spirit of the ’70s, yet filtered through a modern aesthetic. Drawing inspiration from legendary bands such as Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, as well as newer acts like Graveyard and Rival Sons, Birds of Vale authentically capture the core of the genre through intense, high-energy live performances.

Their new album Dimensions, which has just been released, reflects the band’s artistic maturation, expanding their sonic horizons while maintaining the raw intensity that defines them. With more multifaceted compositions and a bolder approach to production, Birds of Vale affirm that they are a band in constant evolution—and one well worth following.
