Izzy and the Black Trees return with “Restless Nights,” a feverish new single that captures the electric pulse of summer and the restless charge that has long defined the Polish alt-rock band’s sound. Driven by Izabela “Izzy” Rekowska’s unmistakable voice and visceral lyricism, the track blends shimmering warmth with storm-level intensity.

“Restless Nights smells like summer. It definitely has the intensity of a thunderstorm. The song was partially conceived in the city of Łódź where we recorded our album and on the road while playing summer shows. Those were good times!” says Izzy.

The release heralds the next chapter in the band’s journey and offers a vivid taste of their upcoming third studio album, Kisses to Chaos, set for spring 2026. Following years of critical acclaim — from BBC 6 Music to KEXP, from European festival stages to headline tours — the new material promises a bolder, darker, and more emotionally charged evolution.

Formed in Poznań in 2018, Izzy and the Black Trees have carved out an international reputation for their raw punk urgency and fierce, poetic rock’n’roll. Their previous albums, Trust No One (2020) and Revolution Comes in Waves (2022), earned widespread praise across Europe and the US, cementing their status as one of Central Europe’s most compelling rock acts.
