LOMMI - Swedish power trio's new album releases hilarious new video for song "Rather"!

Nearly a year after the release of their acclaimed comeback album 667788, Swedish heavy rock trio LOMMI return with a brand-new video for "Rather," one of the album's standout tracks.

Indeed, while "Rather" delivers the album's trademark barrage of thunderous riffs and groove-laden heaviness, the accompanying video takes a very different route. Rather than opting for another straightforward performance clip, the band embraced something far more unexpected. As LOMMI explain: "We wanted to avoid the typical performance video, so we let the director and the team run with an idea that immediately clicked with us. We've always loved their work, and they share the same sense of humor we do. The result is a story about an insecure vampire with plenty of tongue-in-cheek moments. The lyrics have absolutely nothing to do with the video's story, and that's exactly how we wanted it. We love that contrast, and we're beyond happy with how the whole thing turned out. Crank it up!"

Released last year via Majestic Mountain Records, 667788 marked LOMMI's triumphant return after a decade-long hiatus. The Gothenburg trio emerged from the shadows with a record that distilled everything that defines the band: colossal riffs, groove-soaked heaviness, and an uncompromising love for classic heavy metal delivered with unmistakable Swedish grit.

Produced by the band, mixed by Svein Jensen, and mastered by Johan Reivén, 667788 captures LOMMI at their most focused and explosive, balancing old-school heaviness with a renewed sense of urgency. Built around the chemistry of Jens Florén (vocals/guitar), Dennis Österdal (bass), and Jörgen Tjusling (drums), the album reaffirmed the band's place among Sweden's finest riff merchants.
