Neeskens releases his first LP titled "13 (Our Number)"!

NEESKENS, an instrumental trio from Crema (northern Italy) with influences ranging from stoner to post rock, including Black Sabbath and the Dutch national team of the 70s. The band took their first steps in 2018, driven by the desire to cross genre barriers and merge their previously very heterogeneous musical paths.
They have a completely self-produced demo released in 2021 and have finally managed to release their first LP entitled “13 (Our Number)”, recorded, mixed and mastered at Trai Studio in Inzago (MI) between spring and autumn 2025.
Starting March 10th, in addition to the 12-inch LP version being available, it will be available to listen to and download for free on the band's Bandcamp page.
And some words about our new album:
The album was conceived, in every aspect (from the decision to collectively compose every single line in the rehearsal room to the creation of the cover artwork, including the choice of the song titles), as a tribute to their hero - who sadly passed away in 2024 - and, more generally, to all those sports or music figures who have contributed in some way to inspiring the band's work since the beginning.
The six tracks that comprise it, to be listened to in one go, as if they were a live show, represent a further step in the exploration of new sonic playgrounds, always under the protective wing of Neeskens and his companions.

Biography:
Neeskens - an instrumental trio consisting of Ivo on guitar, Valva on bass, and Strong on drums - formed in the fall of 2018.
Lovers of Black Sabbath, Fugazi, noise, and, above all, Well Played Football, they blend their extremely diverse musical backgrounds and create an imagery that revolves around the Dutch national football team of the 1970s, of which Johan Neeskens was a key figure.
Ethereal guitar, rock-solid bass, and powerful drums intertwine in a team effort capable of breaking down genre barriers; for this reason, Neeskens decide not to label themselves, but instead claim to play Total Football, the revolutionary style of play that characterized the Oranje national team.
After their first entirely self-produced album, The Architects of Football (2021), 13 (Our Number) (2026) is now available, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Fabio Intraina at Trai Studio and released on 12" vinyl.
