OPHELIA SULLIVAN presents a haunting new single and lyric video, “Captivate,” from the upcoming album “The Hunger,” due for release on February 12, 2027, via the label Moment Of Collapse Records. Building upon the foundation of their previous record, Disposable Identity, the new single seamlessly fuses Post-Progressive Metal, Post-Rock, and Trip-Hop into a crushing yet fragile sonic landscape. Driven by electronic textures, complex odd meters, and dynamic collaborator performances, featuring Fenix Gayed (Soulsplitter) on drums and Marie-Luise Thurm (Laudare) on bass, the track explores the fragility of human self-concept and the unbearable tension we can experience when expectations we place upon ourselves are in conflict with each other, tear us apart.
