Purple Lung release debut LP of high fantasy doom metal, "Mystic Vision"!

Purple Lung, the medieval doom and stoner quartet from Pennsylvania, have been weaving their high fantasy metal magic since 2022. Glorious downtuned riffage, nod-inducing grooves, and the soaring vocals of singer Toni Pennello concoct a heady brew. Following a series of EPs and singles, Purple Lung are proud to finally unveil their debut LP, Mystic Vision.

Mystic Vision shows the band at their most fully realized, both sonically and conceptually. The songs blend distorted, bluesy riffs with ethereal vocals and expansive soundscapes, creating something fully their own.

Songs like "Blademaster" and "Digging Up Snakes" see the band refining their signature sound, while songs like "Swallowed by the Sea" and "Dreamwalker's Lament" showcase their drive to experiment and expand. Mystic Vision sits at the intersection of stoner/doom metal, hardcore, grunge, shoegaze, and alt-rock, and it's sure to please any heavy music fan.
