SAVAGE BEAT to Release New Video and LP with WAP SHOO WAP RECORDS!

Hailed as the “Amsterdam ambassadors of high-energy rock ’n’ roll,” Savage Beat return next month with their explosive new full-length album, Bright Lights, Tall Shadows, on Wap Shoo Wap Records.

Formed in 2016, the outfit has built a formidable reputation with their self-described “street boogie” – a raw, riff-driven fusion of late-’70s punk rock, high-octane rock ’n’ roll, and Oi! attitude. Unabashed three chord disciples, the band have spent the past decade igniting stages across the USA and Europe, appearing at major festivals including Zwarte Cross, Scumbash, Helldorado, Revolution Calling, and Sjock. They’ve also shared stages with punk heavyweights such as The Damned, Cock Sparrer, Angelic Upstarts, and The Exploited, further cementing their status as torchbearers of full-throttle rock.

On Bright Lights, Tall Shadows, Savage Beat double down on their winning formula: towering riffs, fist-pumping choruses, and anthems tailor-made for sweat-soaked clubs and festival fields alike. Highlights include the instrumental ‘Street Boogie Confidential’ – a defiant nod to their hometown spirit, the ferocious ‘Cut to the Chase’, and new single ‘Unhinged’, capturing the relentless energy that earned them their ambassadorial reputation. Lyrically, the record balances celebratory rock ’n’ roll defiance with darker introspection and reflects the tension and uncertainty of modern life without sacrificing the band’s trademark punch.
