THE RIFT encompasses everything that makes a timeless rock album!

Modula Nation is a distinctive fusion of experimental psychedelic space rock combined with heavy industrial riffs, complex rhythms and tight grooves. The band was founded in Graz and is one of the most promising rock bands on the Austrian underground scene.

The progressive rock quartet delivers pulsating space rock odysseys that take their audience on a psychedelic journey into different musical worlds. Modula Nation has already had the honour of sharing the stage with legendary artists such as Molotov, Tito & Tarantula, Mother's Cake, KMFDM and Skinny Puppy.

The project grew out of earlier musical ventures by singer and multi instrumentalist Heinz Wallner and his bassist and long-time collaborator Ricardo Paz. Their friendship and love for a wide range

of musical genres, combined with nightly jam sessions, helped to develop the band's unique sound. Other band members who complete Modula Nation's musical vision are Philipp Pluhar on drums and electronic instruments and Markus Steinrück on guitars.

SILICON CARNE is the first single release from the upcoming album THE RIFT. The song showcases the band's signature blend of psychedelic rock, funk, and hard and heavy in fluences. SILICON CARNE embodies the band's penchant for boundless experimental music. With its pulsating funk rhythms, lively guitar riffs and Heinz Wallner's versatile vocals, this track is an exciting preview of what THE RIFT promises – an album full of multifaceted anthems, cross-genre

in fluences and a nostalgic nod to the rock of the 90s and 00s.

Single Release 01.05.26

THE RIFT is the second single and ambitious opener of the upcoming album of the same name. The song is characterised by strong punk influences combined with alternative rock and even pop elements. THE RIFT showcases the band's vision of fast, experimental heavy music. With its cheeky punk attitude, pulsating bass lines, heavy guitar riffs, powerful drums, nostalgic synthesizers and Heinz Wallner's multifaceted vocals, this track is a bombastic prelude to what The Rift stands for – an album that transcends all genre boundaries.

Single Release 12.06.26

THE BREAKOUT is the third and final single from THE RIFT. This song is an energetic mix of heavy funk and an almost creamy but steady rock attitude. According to Heinz Wallner, the band's songwriter:

"It was de finitely inspired by bands we admire, such as Faith No More and Muse. We love to blend sounds and genres that we enjoy listening to. It's like mixing a crazy cocktail. Cheers, if you're up for it." THE BREAKOUT was heavily inspired by the funk of the 80s and 90s, combined with alternative rock from the late 90s – once again, it's the formula the band has used throughout the album. A fusion of different genres through and through.
