UK psychedelic rock stalwarts THE COSMIC DEAD share new album "Beyond the Beyond" in full!

UK's loudest space rock and krautrock purveyors THE COSMIC DEAD are set to take over the galaxy with their tenth studio album "Beyond the Beyond", to be released on April 17th via Heavy Psych Sounds Records.

'Beyond The Beyond' is the highly anticipated tenth studio album from inter-dimensional space-travelling explorers The Cosmic Dead, grabbing listeners by the collar on an unashamedly trance-inducing 42-minute exploration into the farthest reaches of the fiery foursome's realms. As It's Psychedelic Baby Magazine editors stated, "there’s a point with The Cosmic Dead where trying to sum them up starts to feel a bit pointless. You either know what they do, or you’ve stood too close to the speakers at the wrong time and learned the hard way."

Recorded at Dystopia Recording Studio in Glasgow, "Beyond The Beyond" album sees the band at their most focused while casting their gaze towards the Middle East, with four intoxicating songs propelled by riff-rolling fusion-tinged rhythms, head-bobbing grooves and warm electronic textures, all wah-laden and with phasers set to destroy. Don't miss their latest video for Stronger!

The Cosmic Dead are an amorphous blob of space rock energy hailing from Glasgow, Scotland. Their exploratory compositions often reach levels of sonic destruction through reflective repetition and visceral harmony. The band has taken many forms since their inception in 2010 and was hailed as "the loudest psychedelic rock band on the planet" by legendary compere Kozmik Ken. At the base of the current sonic obliteration team is a rhythm section of Tommy Duffin and Omar Aborida, a thunderous and cohesive unit that is then further propelled into the outer realms by Luigi Pasquini, providing frantic italo synthesized electronics along with Calum Calderwood's mind-bending, sky-shattering fiddle acrobatics. Their latest and ninth album "Infinite Peaks" was released in 2024 through Heavy Psych Sounds Records.
