KROKA is a Canadian heavy/stoner rock trio founded in 2021 in Kitchener (Ontario). They are known for their fusion of fierce "fuzz" riffs, melodic double vocals and powerful sound. Name Origin: The name comes from the Swedish word for "hook" (kroka), symbolizing their ability to create memorable melodies and take audiences on emotional musical journeys.
The band combines the primary strength of classic stoner rock (like the bands Kyuss and Lowrider) with a modern hard rock undertone and memorable vocal parts (similar to Queens of the Stone Age). Their lyrics are inspired by mythology and philosophy.
