From the Baltic Sea island of Rügen, known for its beaches, forests and pirate legends, emerges Coal & Crayon, a band that has spent years carving out its own path beyond the region’s traditional punk, hardcore and metal scene.

Formed in 2006 as Message In Blood and reborn as Coal & Crayon in 2012, the band has steadily refined a sound that blends progressive rock, post-metal atmosphere and powerful dynamics. After acclaimed releases like World Asleep(2013), KYRA (2017) and Beneath the Moral Void (2024), the band now signals a new chapter.
