Monhell have released a tribute version of Rotting Christ’s “King of a Stellar War”, paying respect to one of the first black metal bands that shaped their listening in the mid-to-late 90s.

It’s a straight, heartfelt homage, made with the intent of honouring those early influences rather than reinventing the song for the sake of it.

The track is performed by Monhell on all instruments, with vocals by Penumbra. Artwork is handled by C. García and Monhell. Monhell are also currently working on a second album, following the debut full-length A Last Sigh of Pain, released by Fetzner Death Records in April 2025.
