Basel’s psychedelic garage visionaries HARVEY RUSHMORE & THE OCTOPUS return with force: today marks the release of their brand-new single and music video “Acid River.” The track offers a first, electrifying glimpse into the sonic universe of their upcoming Album Mindsuckers (2026), set to be released on Taxi Gauche Records.

With “Acid River,” the band dives deep into a hypnotic, swirling soundscape—driven by pulsating percussion, distorted guitars, and an overwhelming sense of cinematic tension. After a brief creative pause, the Basel-based band is back—sharper and bolder—with their new Album Mindsuckers (2026), set to be released on Taxi Gauche Records.

Where Freedomspacecake opened the door to their cosmic, fuzz-driven universe, Mindsuckers steps fully into a darker, dystopian realm. The Album blends catchy hooks with wild improvisational bursts, creating a sonic tension that mirrors the turbulence of the present day.
