Asylum Road releases single 'Cut To The Bone' from upcoming EP 'Cerca Trova'!

Asylum Road From Irelands North West have been a rising force in the modern metal scene. Blending the aggressive punch of groove metal with intricate melodies and a powerful emotional core, the band has been praised for "their powerful blend of heavy riffs, intricate rhythms, and visceral vocals". Their 2024 debut EP, 'The Fear', "established them as a force to be reckoned with, earning them critical acclaim and a dedicated fanbase".
 
Modern groove-metal outfit Asylum Road follow up their global smash 'Mask Of Oblivion', which picked up positive airplay and industry feedback, with their hard-hitting new single, 'Cut To The Bone'. Serving as the third single from the band’s upcoming EP 'Cerca Trova', the track blends punishing groove, heaviness, and raw lyrical honesty. At just over three minutes, 'Cut To The Bone' is a whirlwind of intensity - built on relentless riffs, thunderous rhythm, and vocals that channel both fury and reflection.

“Lyrically, ‘Cut To The Bone’ is about the grim state of the world - that impending sense of futility we were all feeling at the minute, as a global catastrophe unfolds around us", says lead vocalist Darryn McCartney. “It’s about feeling helpless in the face of war, famine, plague and death, while still holding onto your moral compass and standing up for what’s right".
