HARVEY RUSHMORE & THE OCTOPUS Unleash Dark New Single “Mindsucker”!

The new single “Mindsucker” by Harvey Rushmore & the Octopus is out now, accompanied by the band’s darkest music video yet.

Shot like a grainy black-and-white horror film, the video blends eerie forest imagery, tape-hiss drones, and a hypnotic drum-machine groove into a shadowy psych-krautexperience. The story follows a haunted driver pursued by a mysterious bat-like creature — the mindsucker — through an abandoned landscape that feels suspended between cinema and dream.

After three albums and years of touring across Europe, the Basel-based quartet returns with a new sonic direction. While their 2022 record Freedomspacecake leaned toward sunny surf-psych textures, the upcoming album Mindsuckers dives into darker, more ominous territory without losing the band’s signature kraut-infused psychedelic sound.

Mindsuckers will be released March 13 via Taxi Gauche Records.
