PUTRED Unleash Ritualistic New Single "Devorat de Întuneric"!

Romanian death metal force PUTRED, a Transylvanian act forging some of the most oppressive old-school death metal in Eastern Europe, have unleashed their first single from the forthcoming album Blestemul Din Adânc. "Devorat de Întuneric" premiering exclusively via No Clean Singing - is a descent into ritual sonic decay that expands the band’s already grisly musical world.

Since emerging from the crypts of Transylvania in 2020, PUTRED have steadily carved out a reputation for mid-paced, foul-sounding death metal steeped in horror and the macabre. Written and delivered in the band’s native Romanian tongue, their songs evoke grotesque atmospheres and short tales of death, the occult, and the afterlife - all underpinned by guttural vocals and crushing riffing that prioritize mood over speed.

Rather than relishing in technical display, "Devorat de Întuneric" feels like a ritualistic descent: slow, suffocating. The track’s brooding repetition and cavernous tone make it less a song and more an invocation, a sonic passageway into uneasy depths.

This single is the first omen of Blestemul Din Adânc, due out March 20, 2026, and continues PUTRED’s tradition of crafting death metal that lives in the shadows between decay and dread. The album will be available on CD via Awakening Records, vinyl via Futhark Records, and cassette via Iron Fortress Records.
