Ahead of its official release this Friday via Ripcord Records, instrumental post-metal trio In A House Of Heartbeats have unveiled a full album stream of their debut full-length Divination Of Dreams, now live at Everything Is Noise.
The site praises the record’s unsettling depth and unpredictability, writing: “Overall, listeners can expect dynamic, often surprising shifts in many pieces that make this album much less predictable than your typical post rock. Though it is instrumental, Divination Of Dreams features eerie, clinical samples from parasomniacs and sleep therapists that lend some concrete meaning, recalling Swans and Dream Theater in equal measure.”
Emerging from the shadows of Essex’s underground, In A House Of Heartbeats have spent the past three years quietly crafting soundtracks to euphoric nightmares. Rooted in post-rock but enriched by doom, goth, shoegaze, and cinematic influences, In A House Of Heartbeats specialize in slow-burning, emotionally charged instrumentals. Their songs evolve with purpose, starting in hushed atmospheres and climbing toward powerful, immersive climaxes.

Recorded at London’s analogue-driven Holy Mountain Studios, Divination Of Dreams benefits from the meticulous ear of engineer Misha Hering, whose work has long been associated with experimental and atmospheric music. The mastering was handled by Magnus Lindberg of Swedish post-metal titans Cult of Luna, who brings out the record’s full dramatic sweep and dynamic power.
